Biography

Studied at Lancaster University, where I did my BA in Theatre Studies, MA in Contemporary Theatre Practice and a PhD in Visuality in Film and Theatre. I also taught at Lancaster, directed student productions and toured with my own theatre group before joining Salford as a full-time lecturer in 2001.

Pathway Leader for BA (Hons) Performance: Drama & Theatre

Lectures and seminars on Performance in Context, Critical and Textual Studies and Performance Studies.

Improvisation techniques and reflective evaluation on Introduction to  Performance Practice and Reflection

Theatre Directing, Avant Garde Performance,  Contemporary Theatre Practices.

Supervise live performance and video drama projects. 

Research Interests

Research interests include postmodern performance, multi-media theatre and Live Art.
