Biography

I am a writer and lecturer with a background in Fashion, Art, Culture, Media and Creative Writing. I am Editor of This Is Not A Book About Gavin Turk (Trolley, 2014), a collection of essays on contemporary art and a former Editor of Dazed & Confused, where I helped define and document the youth culture of the day alongside leading stylists and image makers. I have written numerous articles and essays on art and culture for publications such as The Observer and i-D, authored and presented an arts programme for Channel 4 and established a curatorial art project based on story-telling and narrative. Prior to teaching at Salford I was a Visiting Lecturer in Media and Journalism at The University Of Greenwich
