The RCUK’s Digital Economy Theme seeks to transform the lives of people, communities and businesses through the design and deployment of innovative information and communication technologies. The annual showcase event is a multidisciplinary environment in which innovative thinkers and researchers are able to share ideas about how to make an impact on society across a range of sectors including transport, healthcare, financial services, and the creative industries.

DE2013 will foster an open spirit and theme of inclusivity, encouraging submissions and registration from anyone in the research or industrial community whether funded by the RCUK Digital Economy Theme or not.
