She has won three commissions for Nine Lives, two in prime time network slots – Channel 4's The Human Mannequin, Extraordinary People: The Girl with 90% Burns and a film for CBBC's My Life strand. Prior to being made an Assistant Producer, she worked as a researcher on Nine Lives' films for BBC Three, including The Anti-Social Network, and also for BBC One, Channel 5 and CBBC.

"Before I did the MA at Salford, I knew I wanted to work making television documentaries but had very little idea of what that would entail. The MA not only gave me a vast range of practical, technical and creative skills which have been invaluable in my career, it also gave me a glimpse into the television industry in the North West and access to individuals who were doing what I wanted to do. Only since I graduated have I realised just how privileged we were to be taught by such encouraging and inspirational tutors who had themselves worked in the industry. We were also frequently given the opportunity to attend events and have our ideas heard - and work seen - by top Manchester television executives throughout the course."
