The ScreenLab MediaCityUK residencies programme brings accomplished international media artists to experiment with the technological capabilities of the state of the art Egg facility (University of Salford's public space for digital interaction).  

ScreenLab MediaCity 0x01 was the first edition of the ScreenLab residency programme and explored modes of perception and interaction under the theme 'Future of Broadcast'.  For this edition accomplished international media artists James George (USA) and Memo Atken produced new work for the 120 MicroTile LED wall in the University’s Egg space.  These interactive digital artworks were then presented to an audience of industry professional, students and academics from the region. Participation then continued by a short exhibition period where the works are open for public interaction.
