Excellent career prospects

The University of Salford makes graduate employment one of its top priorities. What sets us apart is our commitment to boosting your job prospects and preparing you for the world of work. But how do we do it?

By giving students the opportunity to work and study. Three out of four (74%) undergraduate programmes offer a placement year, giving students the chance to work in the UK or overseas - so they've got a foot on the career ladder before they've even left university.

Responding to the needs of employers - working closely with them to develop programmes and short courses that will benefit their business and employees.

We make getting that first job easier. The University's Careers Office provides free advice and support for three years after graduation - giving graduates a good start in their careers.
