Alison BlackburnAlison leads the Directorate of Student and  Academic Support which includes the areas of Student Administration, Student  Life, Quality and Enhancement, School Operations and the Library, enabling  these services to work together to enhance the student experience and to  support the diverse requirements of academic Schools.  Alison’s portfolio  also includes Legal and Information Governance.

Alison has held a number of senior roles in UK  universities and has worked with other higher education institutions and  agencies nationally and internationally on project and consultancy work. Alison  is a QAA Reviewer and has extensive experience of QAA methodologies. She is  passionate about continuing professional development and is a fellow of the  Association of University Administrators (AUA), for which she has also been a  PGCert assessor.
